AJ is a professor for the Specialized Academic Certificate Program in Inclusive Leadership Practices at a local college in Toronto. His courses focus on creating inclusive cultures in the contemporary workplace, global citizenship, and inclusive leadership models. His background in academia has allowed him to advise corporations and large non-profit organizations on issues pertaining to cultural intelligence and cross-cultural sensitivity in workplace investigations.
AJ has extensive expertise in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (“DEI”), and has provided DEI training and education to various organizations across the Province of Ontario. AJ began his career as a Police Officer where he received training in undercover foundations. He currently serves as an Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces (“CAF”) primary reserve and is dedicated to the CAF’s fundamental values of duty, loyalty, integrity, and courage. AJ has also worked in corporate security and executive management and holds specialized training in crime prevention through environmental design.
AJ is currently a Doctoral candidate at the University of Western Ontario. He holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration specializing in Migration and Ethnic Relations, an Honours Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Cross Disciplinary Studies.
AJ consults on DEI, cultural intelligence, and cross-cultural sensitivity in workplace investigations.
