This course provides investigators, security professionals, and interviewers with a structured, ethical, and practical framework for conducting effective investigative interviews. The program emphasizes self-awareness, interview planning, relationship-building, elicitation, effective questioning techniques, essential elements of an interview close and credibility assessment, while recognizing the interviewer / investigator as the primary instrument in the process. The course is entirely based on up-to-date evidence-based interviewing practices. The course prioritizes experiential learning through table-top exercises, guided practice and peer-observed role-plays, all supported by collaborative feedback, structured debriefs, and instructor coaching to reinforce learning.
